Happy Easter?

Happy Easter?
Sunday 3-31-13
Today is Easter... without an Easter Bunny. Today was just like a normal day, it didn't feel like Easter Sunday and no matter how hard us teachers tried to fake it, its hard to celebrate a holiday no one else cares for or even knows about.. Dang it. It especially sucks because Easter always meant Grandma's house and now. I’m not sure what we are going to do... man growing up sucks! Well I got up and got ready for church, came in and wrapped up in my blankie cuz it gets so stinking cold in that room! It was a good meeting, not the same as back home, but I can't expect that! After church, I felt pretty lazy so I went in my room and emailed some people and then I got an invitation from Kristen to come dye eggs for Easter! They had boiled some eggs and Amanda brought a kit so we gathered around the table and colored our eggs! I dyed two of them and would have taken pictures to put up... But I ate em before that happened... oops! I have never really been into the whole dying eggs thing... I mean its cool and all but, why not just eat em?! Haha we dyed eggs for a while and then by the time we cleaned up, it was dinner time!
When I got back, I took advantage of the hot water time and then had Crista trim my hair :) not much but I feel like my ends are getting nasty and she graduated from cosmetology school right before I did! So I trusted her to cut my hair in a straight line ;) While I was getting a trim,Luke came in. he told us we needed to have a meeting for “English Corner” It’s pretty much like my ELE class that I have on Fridays. It’s more of a lecture about anything America and helps the kids learn English. I guess they are more interested in being outside so Luke had up come up with two games to play with our class so I chose dodge ball and red rover because I liked those games when I was younger. Crista and I are supposed to help Luke on Tuesday at 4:15 so after our little meeting I went back into my room and I am getting ready to head to bed because I know I have an early day tomorrow … Bleh
Despite how much I wish today was super cool and eventful, it really wasn't as you can tell by the entry length I am sure. But that’s okay because although everyday might not be great there is great in everyday!
