Lipstick to the face!

Monday 3- 8 -13
today was pretty rough because not only was it my early day but I also had to shower. I do have some sort of personal hygiene concern left inside of me somewhere! Luckily the shower was actually pretty warm it just sucked because my hair was still a little wet when I was headed down the steps to get to the bus. It was actually okay weather today so I can't complain; it could have been worse for sure!
Npie serves us breakfast because we miss breakfast at our school because we have to get on the bus so early. We don't even eat breakfast at our school but, because we are actually awake we take advantage of the breakfast. Especially because they serve these yummy yummy rolls! Mmm!! They are so good! I always end up stuffing myself full on Monday mornings because the meal is so divine! I remember not liking this school very much and not going to lie my first few classes aren't my favorite but my last two are the ones where I used to be talking to myself. But just like little kids usually are, once they warm up to you there is no stopping them! Oh man they are hilarious and I love them!! Rachelle and I start out the class singing the itsy bitsy spider and once there was a snowman and they are so stinking cute singing the song with us and doing the hand movements! They laugh and point to the books. They talk and make faces according to what we are saying and I love it! I love how excited they are about life! While I was teaching them, I think that there were parents there touring the school. They stopped by my classroom and eventually all filed in and watched the class. Normally I would be nervous but I was too busy laughing and playing.. I mean teaching with the kids ;)
after class we went home and I face timed Morgan for a little bit until we had in-service meeting. I only like in-service because the head teachers bring apples and after the in-service I steal all the apples people didn’t eat and eat them for my breakfasts in the morning. Genus I know ;) I tried to go to TKD but the class wasn't there... I need to ask Kelly again where and when the classes are so that I can make sure I am there! O well, I did lots of laundry and tried to unpack and get organized but that didn't get too far before I went to dinner. I am so bad at staying focused when I have all this catching up to do with Rachelle and Sam!
After dinner I tried to finish my stuff but then it was time for FHE. Man that was fun! Mark set it all up. We played a game called master referee and what you do is pick a person to be “it” and they category like months or animals in a zoo etc if I am it and I pick months, I write down a month and don’t show anyone and then pick on someone to guess a month, if I am guessing a month I try to NOT guess the month the person who is “it” picked. If I do, then they get to draw 2 lines on my face with lipstick which McKelle had in her possession a bright purple tube which she willingly donated to the cause. If I don’t guess the month then the person who is “it” picks another person and it keeps going. You have to pay attention to the things that are guessed because if you repeat someone’s guess you get 1 line drawn on your face by the person you repeated. I got pegged by Kristen because I guessed the bird peacock and Josh chose days of the week... there were more than 7 of us so someone was bound to get caught! I was the 7th one chosen with only the option of Friday left so I got another two lines on my face. We got a really good laugh tonight and I had a lot of fun watching Sam (boy) get lipstick on his lips and mark getting eye shadow looking stripes on his eyes. We felt so avan gard] that we decided to take vogue worthy photos of our dashingly purple faced group of FHE members of this week!

I tried so hard to get it all washed off but to no avail. My cheeks and forehead were stained pink and it gave satisfaction to those who didn't participate but little do they know what fun they missed out on!
I have lots of catching up to do with the vacation and all. But I can do it!! I hope...
