Today was AMAZING! I think today It finally hit me. I am in china! Are you kidding me?! Wow. I am so elated. Today was amazing. Yeah yeah yeah maybe it was because I was able to go shopping but I really think it was that I Dellany Olsen on March 3rd 2013 Climbed the Great Wall of China!
Holy Cow it was awesome! And the day was perfectly warm! Yes! I had a climbing group, it was me, Josh, Ben and Crista. We took awhile but that’s because Crista really wanted to make it to the top so we slowed the pace to help encourage her along. Either way, we mad it and it was amazing!! :) Sam and Sarah were also with us here and there, we kinda went at a different pace because we were taking pictures and Ben and Josh forgot their camera in Weihai so I told them I would take pictures for them. I can't believe that we climbed the freaking great wall of china! So awesome. It was pretty hard. I mean my butt and legs were burning. Just the start of my rocking Chinese workout for the next 4 months. Can't forget about those 200+ steps back home. I got a cool little plaque on the great wall that says I climbed the wall :) booya! Beat that people! ;)
