Blankets and a Phone

Today was Sunday,

I woke up and I got a cute note from Crista saying she was so sorry and a hug from Sam and we laughed about it and I told them that I hate them all and thats that.

Haha I also told them what happened and they told me their side of the story...

so Me and Ben were taking pictures and there was a student that we teach who was there with his mom and he wanted to show them the candy which was on the bottom floor of the mall. It was like 5 stories. So when Ben and I came back and they were gone we decided meet at KFC right? Because that’s what Ben Luke and Josh decided. So we are waiting and the girls ask Josh to radio us and he says “uhhh... I can't, Luke has the radio” so then they meet up with Luke and he didnt bring a jacket so he is complaining and saying whatever im cold lets go. Well Josh is telling everyone meet at KFC thats what ben said. And no one would listen to him.  Josh is quiet though so Crista was telling Josh. No one else heard that are you sure? And long story short they didn’t believe him. And oh man do they feel so bad now hahaha Crista said she went in and hugged him and said she was soooo sorry along with everyone else

ANYWAYS, they were standing out there and saw the KFC across the street (the second one we went to) and didnt see us and thought there is no way we would walk back to the other KFC which is, no lie. Maybe a block. At the most around the corner. Not far AT ALL.

So they decided to just get in the Cab because the Girls wanted to stay and look but Luke wouldn’t let them take a cab with just the three girls and said that they had to go now so josh and him could split up and ride with the girls. Which is grand except its not a program rule and hello, you are leaving people in the group which IS against the program rules.... So they ended up leaving and Ben and I were stuck there for forever trying to get a taxi etc. end of story.

so we got all ready for church and then go and sit in the freezing common room because it has zero heating and ceiling to floor windows SO we got all dressed up and snuggled in a blanket and then the head teachers called in on our little cell phone and put it on speaker and listened in for Sacrament! After the opening prayer and song they took care of Ward business and then we muted the phone and Mark and Sam two of the guys who got authorized by the steak president, blessed our breakfast rolls from the cafeteria and administered the sacrament .At the beginning he had to state the laws about those listening to the service. Those who are passport holding foreigners welcome and those who are citizens of china must be baptized members to participate and listen to the meeting. Please make sure to follow the rules to ensure the good relationship with the government that has been established. It was funny to hear comments made in talks when the one speaker talked about being in the ward for 2 years and going to a conference in beijing and being able to meet members of the ward face to face for the first time. Imagine that. Coming from Utah, I couldn’t help but giggle at the end of sacrament when a group said they had 29 people in the room for roll and the man said “oh man! One more and you get a chapel!” haha

well like I said, we had lunch and we were all planning on walking to the beach but it was pretty windy and chilly so we decided to stay inside and Crista me Rachelle and Ben (Josh came in in the middle) had a BOM study and just read and discussed a chapter in 2Nephi for awhile. After that, we attacked my roomie Sam in our room and we all 6 of us were crammed onto mine and Sams beds (they are pushed together in the middle of the room) and watched sisterhood of the traveling pants 2 haha and we talked for awhile and just laughed and enjoyed each others company.

We went to dinner and it was actually really good! Other than the little shrimpers that had all body parts attached to them... it scares me... besides its such a hastle to eat them got to peel all the stuff off and it gives me the heebie geebies haha. We were talking about how we felt about the food when we got here and how we love it now and I am convinced the Chefs have gotten better because there is no way that I Dellany Olsen have started to love those nasty thingies I swore I would never love... nope not possible in the slightest... -_- haha I think I have done it. I have acquired the taste for REAL chinese food... Panda doesn't even do it for me... Great. Now what am I gonna do?! O well I have 4 months of this and I am STOKED! Too bad they cant extend like you can on a mission huh? Cuz I totally would hands down... and I haven't even started teaching!!! have I mentioned that I love this place?? ;)

after dinner Sam and I took advantage of our Warm water slot and took showers and I was writing/typing up my journal and then our room got ambushed again so I had to turn of the computer and focus on our chat/party or whatever they called
