Dell has discoverd that for now she doesn't have access to her blog in China and she is super busy. soo untill we can figure out some other option I am giong to be making her post to this blog from her emails. And adding some pictures along the way.
well, im here! i am so confused and dumb founded I just got here a day ago...
3:30am tuesday morning my mom came and woke me up. wasnt hard though as even though i tried my hardest to get to sleep monday night, my mind was racing and i could not turn it off. so i got up and we headed to the airport (after a blessing by my dad) and i met up with 7 other people from my same group. we got checked in, and had our first problem there. first off, we had an 1.5 hour flight to San Fransisco then we had a 5 hour lay over to our 12 hour flight to korea where we had a 15 hour layover (overnight) which meant that the airlines provided us with a hotel. then we were to fly to Weihai
( China ) at 9:00am (1 hour flight) then get on the bus and head to the school. We were told that we could expect our luggage to stay at the airport until Weihai so we needed to pack carry ons accordingly Ie. a change of clothes and personal items for a 1 night stay. well, we checked in our bags and were told that it was not possible to keep all our luggage because we had a lay over longer than 6 hours so we would have to pick it up. so after trying so hard to plead that we wouldnt have to pick up bags lug then to a hotel and back and re check them in etc. but to no avail.. snap.
but what can you do? the show must go on! so we get through security ( after i got padded down... blasted metal buttons on my pockets threw me under the buss.)
and boarded the plane to San Fran.
